abstract

The demand for better defintion of buttocks is increasing, being controversial or not. Merely augmenting the buttocks by using implants is possible. The relatively high incidence of imperfections of this technique ranging from infection, malpositioning, nerve compression, unnatural esthetic appearen...

ce, limited lifting effect and unbalanced end results in relation to lower back and legs made us look for a better technique. By using liposuction not only for harvasting fat but also using it for body sculpturing from leg to scapulae, and forcing lifting of the buttock by superficial liposuction if the lower back an important step has been made. Subsequently, fat is used to perform tailor made augment the buttocks. To optimize fat ingrowth in these large quantaties (180-240cc per side) autologeous growth factors deriving from patient's own platelets are added. This video gives you detailed information on how to harvest Platelet Rich Plasma and use it for buutock augmentation. Results are highly reproducible (12 times without growth factors, 8 times with growth factors), without any of the afore mentioned complications and a high degree of patient satisfaction. It is therefore concluded that this technique of Buttock Body Contouring is to be preferred over the use of buttock implants.
